OpenLevo classifies descent, transfer, climb, and steep-climb segments from route geometry, then places every recommendation on the trail—not in an abstract list.

Energy you can interrogate

Start with live battery energy when the bike is connected, or a clearly labeled planning value. Change strategy, finish reserve, assist cap, trail condition, or any individual segment and the forecast recalculates.

Advice at the exact point

The Cockpit surfaces the next recommendation before the terrain changes. Assist Plan advises at the route point; it never changes the bike while you are moving.

The planning experience is shared by Turbo Levo and Bosch Smart System riders. OpenLevo uses the energy and ride channels each connected bike can provide and keeps every estimate labeled.

Am I ready? One tap under Start on the Record screen: connection and Auto-Start readiness, remaining watt-hours, today's reserve, the bike's own short and long range as a second opinion, and your last real ride.

A range model that admits what it doesn't know

Most range numbers are marketing. OpenLevo's is a physical model — watt-hours per mile, bucketed by gradient and assist mode — personalized by your actual recorded rides, never by fleet averages in a cloud.

How the number is made

Starts from real energy Remaining watt-hours are read from the battery (measured) — not reconstructed from a percentage.
Terrain-aware Your loop's climbing, rolling, and descending miles each burn differently per assist mode. A hillier route honestly costs more.
Learns you — locally Under three recorded rides, the app says it's still learning your bike and widens the band. All learning happens on your phone.
Temperature is measured now The model reads the battery's own measured temperature from the bike — a cold pack costs range, and the estimate says so instead of finding out on the trail.
The bike gets its own line The bike's reported short and long range appear as their own rows (measured), never averaged into OpenLevo's estimate. When the two disagree, that disagreement is information.
The band is the feature Cold morning, no elevation profile, new bike — the ± widens. When the model is less sure, it looks less sure (estimate, always).
Assist is the lever The same screen shows all three modes so the decision is yours. The app suggests; it never touches your tuning on its own.

Battery over time, without a fake health score.

Bikes → Range groups qualifying rides by month and plots the highest observed start energy. With enough history it compares this season with your first. The app calls this what it is: a derived capacity proxy, not a battery capacity measurement.
